Every artist is unique, but the people that I have worked with whom I consider to be my extended family all possess a professionalism, respect, spirituality and humility for their craft which is at the core of their success. They also know the history of their craft. Every artist, no matter what the medium, starts the creative process with a blank canvass and you have to have a knowledge and command of the core skill set that you are working with in order for your vision to take shape. That’s what makes the greats stand out. They have knowledge of the history of their craft and are working from that foundation.
